This is the essay in which I pack my bags. No, not like that. I do, however, truly appreciate those of you who are paid subscribers to this newsletter, as I reflect on the fact that this will become my only income stream in the not unlikely event that I have to leave the country.
But I’ve posted a lot of heavy content recently. And so I wanted to do something comparatively fun and certainly lighthearted—share the contents of my suitcase for my upcoming week-long trip to California, along with my best feminist-ish travel hacks for travel ease and comfort.
