Kate's Cranky Feminist Gift Guide
The gift guide you didn't know you needed for the impossible-to-shop-for-feminist—or self—in your life this holiday season
A fair warning: to those of you who are here because last week’s post generated a lot of new subscriptions—thank you—that kind of analysis of misogyny, among other social ills, is much more my usual speed. But I do write here, periodically, in lighter and more personal ways too. This post is intended in that vein. This gift guide is also a little bit of a confession: it contains my five bougiest comfort items that are essential, essential, to my life as a writer. And maybe they’ll help you in yours too.
Of course, we have to start with books. Here are some absolute bangers from this year that you will not regret giving—or getting.
