I always find something that is deeply personal, just for me, when I read you. Thank you.

Still thinking about Lizzo's Watch Out for the Big Grrls streaming on Amazon.

Along the lines of Des Pres' definition of The Survivor:

"Like other types of the hero, survivors take their stand directly on the line, but they are unique in that they stay there. And it is there, in the balance of being and non-being, that their peculiar freedom becomes real and effective."

Thank you, domina.

I love this, Kate! As with so much of what you have written over the years this piece is enlightening. I hope your trip went pretty well or better.

I am so glad you are here.

So ... how did it go? Were all your fears laid aside once you started talking or were you still partly conscious of how you felt while speaking live to a real audience again?

Loved this. My favorite comforts are my dog, my soft faux fur heavy blanket and reece’s cups!

Remember if you are fat and working on your issue, you are one step ahead of those that don't recognize they have some problem. If someone's being an asshole about your issue, tell them to get caught up by working on their asshole issue, before taking on your weight challenges. I do better eating no nonsense nutritionally balanced food that satisfies hunger rather than using eating as an entertainment joy stick that trains me like a rat to push the lever.

“There’s nothing to be done about this fact—other than seek to change the world…”

Perhaps there are also things a person can change about themself?
